Portland Tennis Third in Tough Spring Sport Carnival Field

On Saturday, the varsity girls tennis teams brought 3 teams ranked in the top 5 to their Spring Sports Carnival. The girls topped Kalamazoo Hackett to finish 3rd in the quad. Boys Track Take Second in Spring Sport Carnival

Portland Boys Track & Field team finished 2nd in the Portland Invitational Saturday scoring 149 points.  First place finishers for the Raiders were: Brock Gross- long jump 21’9″ (school record) & 100 meters 11.35, Aaron Ramsey- Pole Vault 12′ & 300 Intermediate Hurdles 43.7, Lucas Goodman 400 meters 53.3 & 200 meters 23.339, 800 meter relay team

JV Tennis Wins the Holt Invitational

Saturday the JV tennis team squeaked out another 1st place finish by 1 point at the Holt JV invitational. Flight runners-up at 2 doubles were Brooke Adams / Ashley Pasikowski. Flight champs at 1 doubles were Dezi Thomas / Alania Highfill, 3 doubles Denise Wiggins / Jenna Kincaid, and 4 doubles Emma Donbrock / Olivia Morrow.

JV Golf Hosts Two Man Scramble Tournament

Tennis Canceled Today; 9BA Still On

Varsity Baseball Beats East Lansing

Portland baseball won a come from behind win against East Lansing last night 17-13.  Winning pitcher was Griffin Summers, hot bats were Jimmie Allison 4 for 5 , Blake Meyers, Gavin Thelen each went 2 for 3. Next game is Saturday at home at the Spring Sports Carnival.
