Varsity baseball won their pre-district game last night against Ionia 5-0. Portland’s Hayden Brandt, Treyvin Groesser, Dean Battley, Gavin Dennany, and Kollin Carl were all 1 for 3. Portland baseball won two league games Monday against Williamston 10-6 and 5-0. First game hot bats were Haydin Brandt who went 3 for 3 and Austin Allison 3 for 5. Winning pitcher was Cade Parmalee. Second game hot bats were Jake Clark and Dean Battley – 2 for 3 and Griffin Hager -1 for 2.

The varsity softball team split a league doubleheader with Ionia last night. The Raiders defeated Ionia in the first game by the score of 4 – 0.  Adrianna Novara pitched a 1 hitter in the game striking out 9 and walked 1. Portland scored the 4 runs on 8 hits and didn’t commit an error.

The varsity softball team split a double header last night with Lansing Catholic dropping the first game 1-0 then coming back in the second to win by the score of 10 – 4. Adrianna Novara took the loss in spite of striking out 14 Cougar batters and allowing only 4 hits.  Portland was unable to
