Girls Soccer Competes in the Battle at the Hive

Girls Soccer traveled to Ithaca this weekend for the Battle of the Hive Soccer tournament.  The Raiders faced Corunna in their first round of play.  After a well fought defensive game they ended in a 1-1 tie after regulation but lost 3-1 in penalty kicks.  The only goal during regulation was scored by Maelynn Huhn.

Girls Soccer Starts Off Season With a Win

Girls Soccer opened their season with a 2-0 win over Lakewood yesterday.  Goals were scored by Maelynn Huhn and Mckayln Zigler.  Mariah Fedewa had one assist.  Rachel Nelson had 13 saves in goal for the shut out win. The lady Raiders will play their next game home this coming Tuesday March 27 vs Lansing Eastern at 5:30pm.

Soccer Advances in District Play

Boys Soccer opened up district play Monday with a 6-0 win over Perry.  Goals for the Raiders were scored by Cameron Roof (2), Ethan Getchell, Bryce Snitgen, Lucas Busch and Tate Dziewiatkowski.  Anthony Kreiner had 12 saves in the net. Boys Soccer Beats the Waverly Warriors

Boys Soccer won yesterday 4-1 over Waverly.  Goals were scored by (2) Lucas Busch, Ethan Getchell and Cameron Roof.  Anthony Kreiner have 14 saves while in goal. The boys are 8-10 on the season and will play home Thursday against Laingsburg at 5pm to finish the regular season.

Soccer Loses Tight Game to Fowlerville

Portland Boys Varsity Soccer played a tough match yesterday against Fowlerville. Losing 0-2 at the halftime the boys came out and played a great second half but came up short losing 1-2.  The lone goal for the Raiders was scored by Cameron Roof and was assisted by Tate Dziewiatkowski.
